Compassion Project - Ghana

To find out more & sponsor a child visit: christcentralchurches.org/ghana

We want to say a huge thank you to all of you who so generously gave towards our building fund which has enabled us to finish the work and fully launch our Compassion partnered project we are hosting here in Ho, Ghana.

The project has now started and we have been able to register 205 children who are being supported by the wonderful work of Compassion. We are so grateful for all the support we have had so far and the way this has helped us to get this project going, we couldn’t have done it without your generosity!

Whenever we’re in the building we ask God to continue to bless you all and pray that one day you will be able to see the children, who have been blessed by this project and the way you have given towards it.

The children we currently have involved with the project are between 3 to 6 years old and we have the opportunity to release these precious children from poverty through the course of this 20 year project. They will be taught God’s word and helped to go to school. They will also have much of their physical and practical needs met as well.

We believe that the success of this project will be measured as these children become good citizens and are able to contribute towards society, doing God’s will and building His kingdom in the future.

The next stage of this project is to seek to provide personal sponsors for these children.

We have worked with Compassion to provide an easy route to sponsoring children who are part of our project in Ho, Ghana. Sponsoring a child gives them life-changing support which includes food, education and health-checks. It’s an opportunity to come alongside us and together bring hope and lasting change to a child in poverty.

Every child born into poverty faces a unique combination of challenges and that’s why the Compassion programme doesn’t just care for one area of a child’s life, giving them food or education in isolation for example. Instead Compassion seeks to be holistic empowering children to overcome poverty in every area of their lives.

We would love to encourage you to join us in supporting the work that Michael is involved with in Ghana.
