Refugee Resource Centre for Churches
R2C2 is a network specifically for churches and individual Christians wanting to engage with those seeking sanctuary in the UK.
It resources Christians to support asylum seekers and refugees in their churches and communities with the love and compassion of Christ.
The R2C2 website will help you to:
- understand the UK asylum process
- keep up to date with the asylum policy and news
- pray effectively
- welcome new arrivals into church and community
- encourage refugee-friendly church services
- connect with others working in the sector
- lobby effectively for a just asylum system
- advocate for asylum seekers, including new converts and Christians persecuted for their faith
- Provide support and accommodation for those who have been made destitute
- visit those in detention
- speak the message of welcome for sanctuary seekers
