Meet the Impacters | Sam

IMPACT is a one-year full-time training, development and service programme designed to change your life and build the church. It is a great way to receive biblical training, discover and develop your gifts, grow in character, get involved church planting and serve God in the local church. Impact students are based in a local church and spend time often focussing on a specific project such as youth evangelism, the prophetic culture or students and volunteering in the church. Impacters also receive biblical training through one of our Into the Word training bases, which is a great chance for them to grow in the biblical knowledge, whilst getting involved practically too. They also have several mission days throughout the year, which is a great chance to get involved with church community, whether that be on the streets or in a local church plant. Our students grow dramtically in relationship with God, and are already getting stuck in to church life.

During the next few weeks we will be sharing a little bit about each of our Impact students and what areas of church they are involved in…

Sam McGregor:

Based at the Grace Centre in Bolton, Sam is involved in all areas of church from worship to kids work. Sam also volunteers for Urban Outreach as part of their Storehouse team that work to provide emergency food packages to individuals and families who find themselves in need of help due to illness, debts, benefit delays, homelessness, domestic abuse, redundancy or family breakdown. Sam helps lead kids & youth work and has an active role in the worship team as a drummer.

Sam also felt God calling him to Zambia over the past year and so will be travelling out with the Go Zambia team in 2019 for mission work and seeing Gods Presence in Zambia!

Impact student: Sam

“I came to do Impact because I knew it would open up so many new opportunities for me to give my work and my efforts over to blessing the community. It has allowed me to attend conferences such as The Fathers Heart conference, allowing me up to grow in my own leadership skills.  I’m loving every day and can’t wait to find something else to get really involved in!”
