Calling all Christian GPs!!

Cornerstone Practice in Blackburn is a well–established (since 1988) and thriving Christian General Practice, with a fantastic, high quality, committed and keen Christian staff team and, at last count, just short of 26,000 patients. We work over 3 very different sites / populations within Blackburn and we also work in Oswaldtwistle (between Blackburn and Accrington). We are respected within the town, hit high QOF and local Quality Scheme targets and we enjoy good relationships with other local services and providers. We are actively involved with the CCG (one of our GPs is on the Exec), the local Federation (one of our GPs is on the board of that too and several staff work within federation initiatives) and the Primary Care Networks (we have a GP, lead nurse and 2 managers in lead roles). We employ a Practice Chaplain to work with patients and staff and, through our associated charity, have supported the local Asylum Seeker and Refugee work and Christians Against Poverty. 

We have great freedom and opportunity to demonstrate and share God’s love. Our Mission Statement is “To extend Jesus’ model of the Kingdom of God, whilst providing excellent health care”

We believe God has a lot more planned for the work at Cornerstone.  Our problem is that some of the current partners are reaching retirement and we need to pass the baton on!!
