God Knows You Are Human

Elijah called down fire from heaven, but then ran scared. Jonah delivered a terrifying warning to Nineveh, but then whined like a schoolboy. David was a man after God’s own heart, yet he arranged a murder and committed adultery.

How can we reconcile the heroic exploits of these men of God with their obvious flaws? The lives of these biblical characters carry a potent message for people who think they have to perform well or be perfect before God can use them: our weakness opens the door to His strength.

Reviews
Wonderfully encouraging book that takes the life stories of three men, - David, Elijah and Jonah - and shows that despite thir frail human characters,
God used them to fulfil His plans and purposes. A gripping, very readable book: I can thoroughly recommend. Amazon. 2013. Very Useful Read. [ONLINE] Available at: https://cccw.onl/3ICM3Su. [Accessed 26 January 2022].
