Conferencias para Líderes de las iglesias de ChristCentral en “Las Américas” 

Del 9 al 11 de Febrero los líderes de las iglesias de ChristCentral en la región de Las Américas nos reunimos para un tiempo de comunidad, equipamiento y sobretodo ánimo los unos a los otros. La reunión sucedió en León, Guanajuato, México en un hotel con una vibra muy mexicana, aguas termales y áreas verdes. 

Fue excelente, recibimos amigos de 8 diferentes ciudades en México, a nuestros amados hermanos de la iglesia en Santa Cruz, Bolivia, liderados por David Adjei y a nuestros nuevos amigos de la iglesia “River Center”, en Lebanon, Portland, USA, Warren y Kim Stroup, junto con algunas parejas que los acompañaron.

También recibimos invitados especiales, Jeremy y Ann Simpkins, Rogery Bye y Allen Rossi de UK, así como algunos plantadores de iglesias que nos bendijeron mucho, David e Ivette una pareja que está plantando una iglesia muy interesante en Ciudad de México y Josh Bye representando la obra en Gotemburgo, Suecia.

¡Qué interesante combinación la que logramos entre todos! Sin duda la multiforme gracia de Dios expresada a través de los asistentes.

Comenzamos nuestras reuniones “sin agenda” nada más encontrándonos para orar, alabar a Dios y profetizar juntos (por cierto nuestros tiempos de alabanza fueron bilingües con Ches y Allen dirigiéndonos) y fue un tiempo hermoso, donde el Señor nos habló con varias palabras proféticas, mucho ánimo a través de la escritura y orando unos por otros, por las iglesias que están siendo plantadas, por los ancianos locales, y por su obra entre nosotros.

Nos encontramos para los desayunos y cenas en el restaurante, intercambiando historias de vida y de ministerio y fortaleciendo la comunidad entre los creyentes.

Las últimas dos sesiones, pudimos escuchar un reporte por parte de los ancianos en cada iglesia de lo que Dios está haciendo en sus iglesias. Compartimos un panel de preguntas y respuestas que fue de mucho ánimo para todos, porque pudimos escuchar de experiencia, de juventud, y de la sabiduría que Dios ha depositado en los hombres y mujeres que participaron contestando algunas preguntas.

También, Pepe Herrera, (quien lidera al equipo Apostólico de CC para Latinoamérica) nos motivó a continuar siendo iglesias centradas en el evangelio siendo cristo-céntricos en nuestra visión y en nuestro mover como iglesias.

Gracias a Dios por la gran oportunidad de encontrarnos y alabarle juntos, en 2 idiomas, con diferentes trasfondos, contextos y nacionalidades pero a una sola voz, como un solo cuerpo, como el pueblo de Dios y como una sola familia.

A Leadership Conference for ChristCentral churches in “The Americas”

From 9th to 11th February, leaders from many of our ChristCentral churches in the Americas region gathered for a time of fellowship, equipping, and above all, a time to encourage one another. The meeting took place in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, in a hotel with a very Mexican vibe, hot springs, and green areas.

It was excellent; we welcomed friends from 8 different cities in Mexico, our beloved brothers and sisters from the church in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, led by David Adjei, and our new friends from River Center church in Lebanon, Portland, USA, Warren, and Kim Stroup, along with some couples who accompanied them for our time together.

We also welcomed special guests, Jeremy and Ann Simpkins, Roger Bye, and Allen Rossi from the UK, as well as some church planters who blessed us greatly, David and Ivette, a couple who are planting a very interesting church in Mexico City, and Josh Bye representing the work in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What an interesting combination of nations and peoples we represented as we gathered, without a doubt an expression of the manifold grace of God.

We started our meetings "without an agenda" by simply coming together to pray, worship God, and prophesy together (our times of worship were bilingual with Ches and Allen leading us wonderfully). These were beautiful times where the Lord spoke to us with various prophetic words, much encouragement through scripture. We prayed for one another, for the churches being planted, for the local elders, and for His work among us.

We gathered for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, exchanging life and ministry stories and strengthening the community among believers.

In our final two sessions we heard reports from the elders of each church represented and all that God is doing in their churches. We also shared a Q&A panel which was so encouraging! What was so powerful was to benefit from the gifts God has given to the men & women on the panel and to receive wisdom and experience from the range of ages represented.

Finally Pepe Herrera, (who leads the ChristCentral Apostolic Team for Latin America) encouraged us to continue being gospel-centered churches, being Christ-centered in our vision and in our church's culture.

We thank God for this great opportunity to come together and worship Him in two languages, with different backgrounds, contexts, and nationalities but with one voice, as one body, as the people of God, and as one family.
