We’re really excited about our Devoted Leaders conference at the end of June. It’s going to be a brilliant time together in Darlington, experiencing God’s presence, hearing his word and being together. Whilst we are there we’ll also be enjoying the grace of giving together, we’ll be taking up our great ChristCentral offering this year at the conference.

It’s thrilling to be able to take up an offering to support the work that God has called us to together. This offering will go towards all that we are doing in many nations. In the United Kingdom it will go towards releasing ministries like Chris Frost as he is leading and forming a new UK team to put strength back into our UK churches, strengthening our regions and our processes in the UK. It’s also exciting to see what God is doing through the work of Jubilee+ as Natalie leads this team, enabling churches across the UK to work together to build social action projects which really impact their local communities.

We also lift our eyes to the nations that God has called us to impact, we’ve been called as a family of churches to take the gospel, the good news of Jesus to the nations and this involves not just supporting established works but also church planting. It’s so wonderful to be able to support our new church plant in Cambodia, led by Sam and Abi as well as a new church plant in Germany with Marcus and Leah. It’s such a thrill to see the courage God is giving people as they step out, plant church and reach people for Jesus.

We’re also contiuning to establish Apostolic bases around the world. For instance in Zambia, Joseph has not only been establishing our base in Zambia but is now working into a number of other nations including Tanzania and Kenya. Michael in Ghana has been working into Liberia and Benin as well as incredibly touching lives through the Compassion project as young people and children are sponsored through education, making a massive difference in their community. These are just examples of the work that this money will continue to support as it contributes to salaries of our team leaders in these bases.

Our good friends Tim & Becky based in Oman have also been able through your generosity to work into Pakistan, encouraging churches we have links to there and Pepe in Mexico has been enabled to travel to Bolivia and Costa Rica working with churches in those nations.

These are just a few examples of things that we’re doing together. Can I directly appeal to you, friends, this offering is part of us ‘being friends, enjoying God together”, part of enjoying God is enjoying His generosity, Our God is generous, he so loved us, you and me, that he gave his one and only son for us and we become God-like as we display his generosity in our own lives.

I’m sure you will want to join with me, in praying about how much you can give into this offering. If you are a church leader, please can I ask you and your team to pray and consider how much your church could come with to this great celebration? Jesus during His ministry spoke more about giving and money in His parables more than just about any other subject. Let's pray, let's ask God how much he'll allow you to give into this great offering to support ChristCentral Churches in the UK and throughout the world. God bless you.
