Dwell Album Launch

Come along to hear the launch of Mark's new album on Saturday 18th November, 7pm for an 8pm start, at the Jubilee Centre, Sheffield!

Following on from the launch of Mark's first album (Endless Joy) comes a new collection of 11 songs, all themed on the Psalms. These songs were mostly written during the Covid pandemic period when comfort, perspective, joy and lament was found in these ancient poems, written to a timeless God.

With recordings produced and mixed by the exceptional Matt Weeks (at weeksweeksweeks.com) and mastered by Luke Fellingham (at lunasound.co.uk), these songs cover a range of themes and styles, and seek to give fresh imagination to how these poems might be relevant for today.

At this launch event on Saturday 18th November, all the songs will be played by a full band of Mark and friends.
All ages are invited to come along and to engage as you feel comfortable - to sing and dance along, to sit and to ponder, or something in between.

The event is free for entry. To find out more and to register your free place click here.

Drink refreshments will also be provided free of charge on arrival and in the interval.

More about Mark
I am a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and worship leader, based in Sheffield, UK.

I wrote my first song with my dad when I was 6 years old and have been writing songs ever since. Some have been sung in various settings, and in countries as diverse as India, Oman and Canada.

I enjoy co-writing songs, sometimes in different languages, honouring the diversity of God's creation and the wonderful friends from different parts of the world I get the privilege to do life with. I also love seeing others grow as worshippers and in their gifting as songwriters.

I’m a social worker and magistrate. These experiences have informed some of my songs as I seek to facilitate all ages to worship Jesus, empower them to follow Him wholeheartedly, and encourage fresh hope, joy and faith to rise in all circumstances. I am married to the wonderful Beth and have three young children. I’m not a big fan of DIY and I dislike smelly cheese.
