Where were you on May 1st 2020? We were up at the Hastings Centre and Friday Night Live began. What started as a livestream during COVID is now a place where many young people gather every week for community, fun and hear about Jesus.

When the stream first launched, we had all play games for the entire family from the comfort of their home, we had live animals on display, we had Alfie Head taking on Isaac Wales in a series of challenges called Heads or Wales where the winner was voted for on Instagram. It didn’t stop there, we also had Live In Your Livingroom, where young people had the chance to win prizes including Knockhatch tickets, Mars Chocolate hampers, Sea Life Centre tickets, football tickets, skateboarding equipment and more. We also had quiz nights, online festivals and Good Friday streams. These streams were viewed by hundreds people both nationally and internationally.

So, to celebrate five years of Friday Night Live, we thought it would only be right to celebrate with our roots of livestreaming and we shall be back on the 18 th April at 7:30PM. We shall some of the classic games like Heads or Wales and some brand new games like Cakey Skate and our own version of a Midnight Gameshow. We shall giving away prizes throughout the stream as well as having a time of worship and opening the Bible with Jeremy Simpkins coming to share.
