During our recent Leaders Online gathering we were able to pray for the church in Oman and for the situation in Iran. here are some prayer points for us to consider:
1. Intercession for Iran:
• The Current Climate: Iran is frequently in the news due to the traumatic events and political instability in the nation at the moment. These situations feel very "close to home" for the church in Oman and can make it difficult to know exactly how to pray.
• A Growing Move of God: Despite the turmoil, Iran has the fastest-growing church in the world at the moment. The church in Oman specifically know of 23 believers within the country.
Prayer Points:
• Safety: For the protection of the believers we know and the wider church.
• Redemption: That God would bring good out of evil and establish His Kingdom.
• Witness: That men and women would lift their hands to testify to the goodness, grace, and love of God.
2. Family of Grace (Oman)
Celebrating 25 Years
• A Global Community: This is a diverse church representing over 30 different nations. Over the last 25 years, it has impacted people from 37 different nationalities.
• The Celebration: A major event is planned for the 23rd January at a hotel for over 250 people to celebrate God’s faithfulness.
Leadership Transition
• Tim & Becky’s Departure: After 8 years in Oman (as of this October 2026), they are preparing to return to the UK. This is a significant and emotional "apostolic and prophetic" moment for the church.
• Incoming Leaders: Katherine and Blessan are moving to Oman to lead the church.
• Vision: Re-stirring faith and revisiting founding prophetic words. Many of these are gaining increased significance at this time, one passion is for the church to continue to impact the nations as people return to their home countries.
Practical & Personal Needs - Blessan & Katherine
• 10 Day Visit: A crucial 10-day trip takes place soon for them to meet congregation leaders and small groups, including a core prayer meeting next week.
• Visas & Paperwork: Visa applications in Oman are notoriously difficult. Prayer is needed for the smooth processing of qualifications and required paperwork.
• Katherine’s Employment: She is applying for teaching roles. This would be a huge practical benefit for their family as well. We pray for God to clearly open or close this door.
