Strengthening Foundations: A Ministry Update from Tanzania
During our recent Leaders Online gathering Israel who oversees our churches in Tanzania updated us regarding their ongoing partnership with ChristCentral. Recognising this collaboration as a shared participation in God’s mission they expressed their gratitude for the support they have received in recent times. This partnership has not only met practical needs but has also strengthened ministry foundations, encouraged local believers and provided a lasting positive impact on children, families and church communities.

While reflecting on this progress, they highlighted several critical areas where support and prayer are needed to ensure stability and growth of our churches in Tanzania.

At Conquerors Church in Mbeya they are focussing on expanding their digital footprint, extending the reach of the gospel through digital media. To this end, they are seeking provision for a quality camera, audio equipment, microphones and some basic lighting. These tools are intended to facilitate the sharing of the gospel beyond the local community through social media, local radio and television platforms.

Infrastructure remains a primary concern for their school operations. Reliable water access is a significant challenge during dry seasons, leading to an increased reliance on purchased water. Consequently, the team is trusting God for a long-term solution, which involves drilling a borehole and establishing water storage to ensure consistent access to clean water for sanitation, food preparation and continued safe learning.

Transportation is also a persistent need, to show real ownership of the problem Pastor Israel has committed his personal vehicle to transport up to 11 children to school daily. However, with student enrollment continuing to rise, the leadership are keep to find a more sustainable long-term solution to improve safety and accessibility.

Financial sustainability is another key priority with a number of children still in need of bursary support to fund their schooling.

The team have a vision to host a Devoted Conference in Tanzania for their national leaders with a desire to host international guests as well. Not only that they are supporting two School of Leadership bases one in Mbeya and another in Dar Es Salaam. They hope to open a new base in the north of Tanzania in Arusha.
