We believe that starting churches in new locations is one of the best means to reach more communities with the good news about Jesus and to bring about positive social transformation.
We call this process “church planting” and achieve this through training, releasing and supporting church planters in the UK and other nations.
How will we do this?
Successful church planting is all about getting the right team, with the right leader, into the right location, at the right time, with the right resources to do the job.
Our church planting team will help to bring all these factors together through a variety of different means.
The ChristCentral Church Planting Team is led by Rob & Jo Horn who are based in Cumbria, UK. They have a vision for the team to embody being friends on mission together, as well as being able to serve others. They encourage church planting and support ChristCentral teams working in different nations, but currently their main focus is the UK and Scandinavia!
The intention is that support for church plants extends beyond helping the church plant leader and also includes, for example, encouragement for sending and supporting churches.
The team are also passionate about children and young people being involved in our mission to the nations. We know that inspiring the next generation is vital as we seek to keep church planting at the forefront of what we do together as a family of churches.
We will remain open to God directing us as to the specific locations for new church plants both in the UK and overseas.
Below is a list of some of the locations we are currently working into.
This is not an exhaustive list, please do get in touch with us for a more complete picture.
Church Planting Training
Church Planting can be difficult and is often daunting but it can equally be exciting and rewarding - through the highs and lows we are passionate about supporting church plants and church planters as much as possible.
Because of this we believe training is important, that's why we've been developing training for church planters both before and during each stage of the church planting process. Why not join us?
