School of Leadership - International Bases

Training Course.

The School of Leadership course runs internationally in North America, Central America and Africa, using videos recorded at the UK base in Sheffield. We hope to have more locations in the future - watch this space.

Our Current International Bases:

KITWE - ZAMBIA

Dayspring International Ministries Kitwe was the first international location to launch School of Leadership in 2014. The Facilitator is Joseph Mwila and he and his team oversee 40 churches in Zambia. Students travel very long distances to get to the training base and access the course. School of Leadership in Zambia is currently on pause, but looking to restart again soon.

MUMIAS, WESTERN KENYA

The base in Mumias, Kenya started in March 2018, and is being led by Wycliffe Wabuko. Wycliffe oversees a network of churches in western Kenya. Both Kenyan bases run the full UK School of Leadership course in English.

NAIROBI, KENYA

The second base to launch School of Leadership in Kenya was in Nairobi. Fred Osore is leading this base. Fred hopes to use this base to launch church planting in central Kenya.

MBEYA, WESTERN TANZANIA

This was the first base to start School of leadership in Tanzania in 2022, and it is being led by Israel Lwitiko. The translation of the course into Swahili is now complete, enabling both Tanzanian bases to teach the material in Swahili to their students.

DAR ES SALAAM, EAST COAST TANZANIA

School of leadership in Dar Es Salaam was the second base to launch in Tanzania in December 2023. It is an exciting new base which is well attended by the students. They access the course in Swahili, and the base is headed up by Frank Musaba.

MEXICO

School of leadership in Mexico runs across 7 bases, and is led overall by Pepe Herrera. They work on the format of a lesson a week, one module per month. The translation project is well underway, and almost half of the material is now translated into Spanish for the Mexican students.

HO, GHANA

School of Leadership in Ho, Ghana began in 2018 and is headed up by Michael Akotia, who leads City of Grace Church. Michael oversees a network of churches in Ghana and Togo. The school has recently had a graduation of its students and is now starting the course again with a new set of students, running the full UK course in English. More information can be found at: cityofgrace.org.

OREGON, USA

This is a new base which started in Sept 2023, led by Warren Stroup and Bob Elliot. The course is currently running well, alongside the “Into the Word” course which provides solid and in depth Bible teaching.

What our students say:

It's challenging & demanding but hugely worthwhile

Student, School of Leadership

School of Leadership has been great to be a part of. The teaching is accessible and yet has depth. There is time consistently given to digest the information in groups and then feed back for questions and answers to hear different angles on any given topic. If you can go on the course...then go!

Student, School of Leadership

I’d recommend School of Leadership to anyone looking to grow in their understanding of the Bible who is exploring their call to lead others. There was a great balance between Bible learning and practical application.
